So this is what I’ve been working on the past few weeks. A friend had a broken Line 6 combo amp so I am converting it to a tube amp. The circuit started out as a Top Hat Club Deluxe with tremolo but has mutated a bit. I’ll post a schematic later on. It’s basically push pull 6V6s and 3 6N2P preamp tubes.
The Line 6 had a bunch of knobs that the owner wanted to still be functional and I have found a use for all of them. They even, more or less, do close to what they did previously.
It’s pretty much built with parts I had laying around but I think they will still add up to a pretty good sounding amp.
