I just spent most of last weekend cleaning off my bench and the surrounding disaster area. Over the last few months it became the dumping zone for whatever we didn’t want in the house. Now that’s its cleaned up I would like to get soldering again.
I have a few ideas but I’m leaning toward something with big bottle tubes, EL34s or 6L6s. Maybe single ended. I haven’t done a big bottle ,single ended amp and I would like to try out a high gain preamp.
